We are a small club, established over 20 years, consisting of a few friends who fly all types of radio controlled models: fixed-wing from small foamies to large scale, electric and IC, and electric helicopters and multi-rotors. We are predominantly fun flyers.
Our flying site is about 7 miles west of Weymouth and consists of a well-maintained grass area free from any obstructions. Helicopter and multi-rotor flyers can fly at our field confident in the knowledge that they will be flying within the CAA regulations.
Flying is permitted seven days a week, all year round. In the winter we keep our hand in with a weekly Friday afternoon indoor session at a local Leisure Centre.
We are affiliated to the BMFA and all members must have BMFA membership and insurance.
When vacancies occur the club is open to people of all ages and abilities, novice flyers will be given help and instruction by experienced club member’s.
